Proceed East off I-75 exit #138 to Buckingham Road (approx 2 miles) turn left , the facility is approximately one mile on the left / West side of the road. The large entrance entitled “Lee County Solid Waste Recovery Facility” is clearly marked. Enter the driveway and proceed using the right lane around the scale house following the visitor signs. There is no need to stop at the scale house if you arrive during posted hours, and your tour has been confirmed. The large 5 story building at the rear of the site is your destination. Covanta Lee’s offices are on the fourth floor.
