Covanta Pasco, Inc. (CP) operates the Pasco County Resource Recovery Facility for Pasco County.

The Pasco County Resource Recovery Facility is located in Spring Hill, Florida. The Facility has operated continuously, 24-hours a day 7-days a week, since it began commercial operation in 1991. The facility processes aproximately 350,000 tons per year while operating 31.2 -Megawatt (MW) electical generator with an output of 27 MW. This is equivalent to an estimated savings of 350,000 barrels of oil per year or the equivlent of the electical consumption of 15,000 homes. Covanta Pasco County Resource Recovery Facility also performs ferrous recovery and recycles approximately 4,500 tons of metal annually.
